The Sims 4 Snow Fun is now available

Several Sims participate in winter activities, likes snowboarding and sledding

Wrap up for the ultimate virtual escape in The Sims 4 Snowy Fun, available today on PC, Mac, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One! Snow Fun is the 10th expansion pack for The Sims 4, taking players to the winter world of Mt. Komorebi, a new destination for Sims looking for their dream vacation or new home. The Sims 4 Snow Fun provides the perfect place for all Sims, whether they’re looking for an adrenaline rush with thrilling winter sports and mountain excursions, or trying to find their inner zen through hikes or trips to the hot springs.

Mt. Komorebi is a new, Japanese-inspired world and the first world in which both residential and holiday plots are available. The expansion packs also add new traditional and modern furnishings, plus decorations for players to build their own shrine with, including shoji doors, windows and screens, tatami mats and paper lanterns. Simmers can add a little extra to create an oasis, such as koi for decorative fountains and a rock garden shaded by Japanese maple trees.

For players looking for some thrills and excitement, Snow Fun offers plenty of winter activities such as skiing, snowboarding, sledding and extreme mountaineering excursions to the treacherous top of the mountain. For those who just want to relax, Sims can relax in the natural onsen hot springs, take meditative walks in the bamboo groves, and treat themselves to a meal from the kotatsu hot pot.

In Snow Fun, players also have the option to add more depth to gameplay by introducing lifestyles and feelings. Up to 16 lifestyles are revealed in response to a Sim’s actions and habits, which are more effective than a Create a Sim trait because they reflect the lived experiences. Feelings represent how two Sims can react completely differently to a shared experience and have a lasting impact on a Sim’s relationships and social interactions.

The Sims 4 Snow Fun is available now for $ 39.99 on PC and Mac via Origin and Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
